Feels Good to be Home – Public Access TV in Brooklyn

With a sophomore album in the bag and back from their European run, the boys of Public Access T.V. kicked off their American tour in Washington, D.C. bringing the band Honduras along with them. After touring through about 20 cities the boys were back in town. Showing off their new creation PATV wrapped up their headline American tour at home. Pretty Sick and Honduras opened up the show for the New York band that graced Brooklyn with tunes from their 2016 freshman album ‘Never Enough’ as well as their newly released ‘Street Safari’ featuring singles like ‘Metrotech’ and ‘Lost In The Game’. It was a must see show!

Jake Bugg and Nina Nesbitt Live at The Bluebird Theater

Outside the Bluebird Theater, fans of multi-award winning Jake Bugg, waited anxiously for the doors to open.
When inside, they were welcomed by opener Nina Nesbitt, who started the show with her nostalgic piece “The Moments I’m Missing” which will be the first song off of her upcoming album. Nina wowed the crowd with her flawless falsettos and her ever relatable lyrics in “Somebody Special”. This tour certainly is special for Nina; being her first time ever to play in the U.S.

Once Jake walked on stage, guitar in hand, the Nottingham based singer-songwriter said hello to the crowd and began strumming to his tune “Hearts That Strain”. He proved himself to be anything but ordinary with his astounding vocals & not to mention his effortless picking skills. Bugg recently released his fourth studio album, but played at the request of fans to reminisce on his older songs. The audience sat quiet in awe of his talent–even occasional shushing could be heard in the midst of the floor. Bugg undoubtedly demonstrated that he is fully capable of delivering his soulful message through the power of his voice anytime. As far as I’m concerned, Nina and Jake will always be welcome back to Denver.

The Voidz Live At The Hollywood Forever Cemetery

On the eve of their sophomore release, Virtue, and with the eerie backdrop of the famous Hollywood Forever Cemetery, The Voidz showcased a variety of new material. They took the audience through a maze of fused genres that came together in a way only The Voidz could pull off: effortlessly manic.

The Sherlocks’ Last Night in America November 9, 2017

From Sheffield, England, The Sherlocks took a trip to North America to promote their new album. Their indie alternative music has thousands of people shouting the lyrics to their songs and selling out venues throughout United Kingdom. Building their fanbase, they opened for bands such as Kings of Leon and The Libertines and soon to open for Liam Gallagher on his European tour in 2018.

After seven years of being a band, the two sets of brothers released their debut album, “Live for the Moment” in mid-August of this year. The album featured singles from years prior and new tracks that hit #6 in the UK charts.

With the success of their album, they set off on a UK, European, and North American tour. They performed in the US back in March of 2016 for SWSX in Texas, but their first headline tour was this November, starting in Toronto.

The band kicked off the set with their song, “Last Night” and the crowd was immediately enticed. Although it was the last night of tour, they never let their energy falter. Their tunes “Blue” and “Will You Be There?” roared through DC9 Nightclub bringing those from the downstairs bar and staff.

“Turn the Clock,” arrived on the setlist and the acoustic guitar was brought out. The crowd was thrilled to hear a slower song that showed another side of the band.

Kiaran, the lead singer and guitarist, took a moment to say, “We’re ending our first tour in Washington, D.C. just how we wanted it,” which made the crowd yell with happiness and cheering.

As the upbeat songs came back, pairs of friends danced in the crowd with the beer in their hands. An older adult was front and center, mesmerized by the band. Andy, the bassist, had a huge smile on his face seeing how the crowd was reacting to them.

The band knocked the night and tour out with Chasing Shadows. Soon enough, this band will be filling venues of the USA and we’re excited to see them progress!

The band will be returning to the USA in January 2018 to the West Coast. The first date on January 16th in Los Angeles at The Echo.
